Sparkling wine: Première Bulle - Blanquette de Limoux

In 1531, a monk from Limoux was responsible for the “invention” of the first sparkling wine. The name Premiere Bulle refers to this.

At Sieur d’Arques we find this trendy bulle in a fresh, floral bottle. This wine is light and fruity, worthy of the best bubbles. It is therefore extremely suitable for your festive moments. Unlike the Blanquette de Limoux Méthode ancestrale, this wine is made according to the méthode traditionnelle. In the Blanquette de Limoux, the defining grape is the Mauzac.

Grape varieties: 90% Mauzac, 5% Chenin, 5% Chardonnay
Vinification: méthode traditionnelle, aged “sur lattes” for 15 months
Preservation: drink young (2 to 3 years)
Temperature: 6° – 8°C
Pour: ideal with an aperitif, toast with smoked salmon or foie gras
Colour: a beautiful pale yellow color
Aroma: lively and delicate. Aromas of white flowers and agrum.
Taste: lively and round. Quite long with nice agrum notes in the aftertaste.
